The video in Light Armoured, 2006-2013 sculpture was originally exhibited on YAMA, a public video screen on top of the Marmara Pera Hotel, in 2006. YAMA has been a non–profit platform for contemporary art with the aim of presenting art to a wider audience in the city of Istanbul. After 20 days of being screened publicly, on September 4, the Istanbul police forces censored the work by shutting the screen down immediately, believing that it may be provocative.
